Not that everything’s funny here.  No, this site is a lot like life; bits of really funny stuff, surrounded by quite a bit of somewhat painful irony and total idiocy.

(Rather like George W. Bush’s two terms in office, actually … )

Aw, damn … couldn’t resist taking a cheap shot at the President … hell of a way to start a new site.  I’d better stick a flag or two on the page, just so the more rabid Republicans don’t get too pissy.

 

 

 

 

Feel better?

Listen, for the record, I am pro America (but that doesn’t mean that I don’t believe we can’t make mistakes) and, as a twenty year veteran, I support all American troops, period, (I just wish they weren’t being crippled and killed in the biggest wasted effort since Vietnam), I just believe that our president is an ethical, moral, and political black hole.  If he had the slightest bit of sense, he would have read his father’s writings on Iraq before indulging himself with a totally illegal invasion … or, at the very least, would have considered the lesson of King Canute prior to trying to sweep back the tide in the middle east.

And, no, I am not a Democrat, nor any readily identifiable political ideology that can be easily labeled.  I am an educated American with a brain and conscious of my own, fully capable of thinking out any given situation and making up my own mind.  (Quake with fear, you tiny fools!)

I suppose this is as good a time as any to mention that my site is a free-thought protected zone, where anyone can say or write anything they want … and I, with equal freedom, can delete anything I don’t agree with.  Fair is fair, after all.  If y’all don’t like what I’m saying, you can simply head over to Google and see what else there is on the web for a narrow-minded zealot to do … me, on the other hand, I have to live here, so I should have the right to remove anything that annoys me.

In short, this site will be run just like a Bush public appearance … any and all dissenters and/or protesters will be moved to a centralized location.  (In this case, my kill file; Who says the President is a terrible role model, anyway?)

At any rate, welcome aboard … now grab a paddle and aim for the deep water, please.
